I went to go check out the Midsummer Night Scream at the Hilo Civic. The visiting team, the Socket Wenches, totally dominated the local Honey Badgers and Hulagans. I may now be a derby fan.

Dude. Roller derby is so awesome! I've been to a few bouts in London. Will was a referee for one league for a while, and his girl Victoria skates in one now. Great shit!
I haven't been to a bout on the island but I have been to several on the mainland.
This is the first one that I've ever been to. I'm curious to see what it's like when the teams are more evenly matched.
